   ALS 2 x 2 NT  

The ALS 2x2 twin spindle log slitter is a high production model which slits two rolls of material simultaneously using  two mandrels and two slitting blades. Slit widths and cutting parameters are set and stored using a touchscreen. This slitter is ideally suited for small and large core tapes, it has a minimum slit width of 0.4mm / 1/64"

The 2x2 heavy duty automatic roll slitter can produce excellent slit quality foams, double sided tapes, non wovens, foils, rubber, paper and filmic tapes, PVC, laminated materials, glass fibre, cloths and coated materials, etc.

The NT 2x2 uses a full colour touchscreen with product data storage for automatic setting of the slitting parameters to suit each product.  There is a large capacity memory for:

  ●  Material rotational speed

  ●  Blade rotational speed

  ●  Cutting speed through the outer layers of the material

  ●  Cutting speed through the inner layers of the material

  ●  Cutting speed through the core

  ●  Pause timer to cut through the core

  ●  Width of cut required (4 widths per programme)

  ●  Number of cuts per width

  ●  Blade status indicator, either driven or free rotating for each cutting speed

  ●  First and last cut positions relating to roll width

  ●  Automatic setting of the blade cutting positions to suit the roll diameter (Sibtec option)

  ●  Automatic pivoting blade angle for each width and trim cut (option)

  ●  Programmes stored by name and number

  ●  Password protection to limit access to changing the saved programmes
