ALS News    Successful ICE Show   -  great interest in iPad machine monitoring            500 Sibtec sold to Swedish tape converter                 600 Sibtec installed in Lohmann, Russia          Double order for two 500 Sibtecs, left hand and right hand operation

                                                               NEWS

New monitoring technology debuted at the ICE show in Munich

Using a network connection to the Screen/PLC we are able to access the

machine Screen and PLC remotely. This gives us 2 advantages. From the
customer side you are able to log into the screen from your desk PC and
view what program is in operation, how many rolls slit, how many to go
and who is running the machine. From our side we can connect for fault
finding, diagnostics and upgrades etc.

During the show the machine was connected to an iPhone and iPad. We
could run the machine, change all the screens, change programs all
remotely via Wi-Fi. The only thing I couldn’t do was change the roll!

This is a very new technology that we can now offered on new machines.
